1st Step Learning Academy
A childcare website designed around one conversion — schedule a tour — with the licensing, safety and curriculum proof parents look for first.
The problem
Parents choosing childcare are making one of the most anxious decisions they'll make all year. They're scanning for licensing, safety, hours and whether the place feels warm — in about ninety seconds, usually on a phone, usually at night.
The approach
Every page answers a parent's question before it's asked. Licensing number, ages served, opening time and transport sit in the first screen. Programs are organized by age, because that's how a parent searches. And every section ends where the parent needs to go next: a tour.
What got built
- Trust bar in the hero — Georgia license number, year-round care, 6:30 AM open, school transport.
- Programs by age — infant, preschool/pre-K, after-school and summer camp, each with its own page and its own language.
- Safety, communication and curriculum given real estate instead of a line in a paragraph.
- Tour scheduling and click-to-call in the header, the hero, every program page and the footer.
- Local SEO structure — city and service in the title, headings and copy, so “childcare in Powder Springs” has something to match.
The result
A site a parent can evaluate on a phone in under two minutes, ending on a tour request.
